Newsletters and State of Union

Here are the two most recent PAMI publications:
December 2017 PAMI Newsletter
January 2018 PAMI Bulletin
For a summary of 2017 ministry, below is a copy of what went out to those supporters that received year-end statements in January:

Thank you for your gifts and prayers for PAMI in 2017.  They are fitting of Acts 20:35 that says “…we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
This has been another fruitful year of ministry.  57 people were baptized.  Three graduated from Emmaus Bible Institute on March 30th.  Of these, Joyce Coletorio was retained to work part-time as a Compassion teacher at EBI and part-time at Mabini.  EBI alumni Michael Hista and Michelle Catubig married in April and began work in Candumaay, Matnog.  English literacy tutorial classes were begun in Candumaay and Mabini using materials supplied by The Bible League.  We were able to distribute another 560 Operation Christmas Child boxes and carry out a lot of discipleship along with that.  175 Compassion sponsored kids are now served weekly at EBI.  Irosin Church sponsored the first Rock for Jesus Battle of the Bands in the town amphitheater, with 300 attending.  Film showings, Bible study outreaches, workshops, children’s feedings, and VBS continued.  Values Instruction Classes were done in several public schools and Family Development Sessions with government welfare recipients.  A few balikbayan boxes were sent with books, games, toys, hygiene supplies, clothes, and laptops.  EBI improvements included new roofing, new bathrooms, and a new motorcycle with sidecar.  It’s through the partnership of dedicated Filipino workers and faithful supporters like you that all this is possible.
