There are many ways that you can have an important role in the Lord’s on-going ministry in the Philippines.
Prayer is the foundation of all of the ministries of PAMI. Every month, a few friends and board members of PAMI meet at a local church in Bloomington, MN for a time of Prayer-and-Praise, lifting the needs of the PAMI mission up to God, and praising Him for all that He has done. For many years an annual fall potluck occurred in September or October at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN. As a celebration of what God is doing in the Philippines, it included a potluck supper with speaker, video, pictures, and music. More recently, individualized presentations have been conducted at various churches or other venues. The date and time of the next potluck or presentation will be announced via Newsletter and E-mail. Every few years a mission group travels to the Philippines to visit PAMI congregations, provide encouragement to workers, and give support to the ministries. The Respond! Philippines mission team, sent by Emmaus Lutheran Church, was the last short-term-mission to visit PAMI, July 8-30, 2009.

Nearly all (about 99%) of funds received by PAMI go directly to supporting the native workers and ministries in the Philippines. The administrative work associated with running the U.S. side of the organization is done entirely by volunteers. We can always use more help in various administrative tasks, such as Newsletters, Mailings, and other communication, Bookkeeping and Accounting, Web-site design and maintenance, and publicity and promotion of the mission.
