Thanks to your gifts and prayers, PAMI ministries keep going strong. Here’s an Oct 27th report from Sis. Ofel Mendizabal, head of Emmaus Bible Institute, which gives an encouraging glimpse of recent happenings:
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
After so many struggles about road widening implemented by the government… At last! The EBI front wall and steel gates are done. Thank you to all our sponsors who give their financial assistance to make this project materialize.

New wall with Ptr Raf’s house on far left. Note that his house is the former bakery. The cement filled window is the former hole for passing baked goods from the kitchen in the back to the store in the front. The front room that was the former store had to be torn down during road widening.
Last Oct. 12th, we gathered almost 50 young people, ages 13-20, for our first youth gathering in Bulabog. Some EBI students assisted, rendering songs and performing a short play/skit about the Message of Salvation. The theme was “In God’s presence, there is fullness of joy.” (Note: Bulabog became a daughter church of EBI a year ago, and is pastored by EBI graduate Marlon Gabion.)

Last Saturday, October 25th, we already conducted our first Bulabog baptism. There were 23 souls who committed their lives to follow and serve Jesus. We are so blessed that God is multiplying and growing our ministry in Bulabog.

We are continuously having our Prayer Meeting near Bulabog in Bucal-bucalan with almost 30 attendees despite encountering difficulties and trials, especially when one of our Bible study members died. He’s Jose Caubang. But praise God because his family is willing to continue opening their house for Bible study.
Barangay Capuy, Bulabog, and Bucal-bucalan were the 3 places where we held Bible Studies and also my final examination in Personal Evangelism (freshmen), which was to find new contacts. Praise God, we opened 10 new homes for Bible studies because of that.
Likewise the Ministry in Penafrancia is growing by the Grace of God! Here is the Penafrancia report from Pastor Rolly:
Continual blessings from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be yours abundantly in physical and spiritual.
God is so great in every one of us that He continually guides us and gives us strength in every circumstance in our life. The Emmaus Christian Church daughter church in Brgy. Penafrancia is by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ continuing its activities. Though there are many trials, it’s still standing for the Glory of God. Bible Study contacts increased through the help of intern student and other students of EBI doing door to door evangelism. An intern student, Michelle Catubig is doing discipleship training every Saturday for the youth. Through prayers and blessings of the Lord, Sunday Service/Fellowship attendance increases. Other youth are being used as song leader, Scripture reading and backup singers.
Last Oct. 5, we appointed Sis. Matilde Jerao as Leader for Women’s group of ECC Penafrancia and Sis. Aileen Lanac as the Leader for Youth Organization. And last Oct 19, Sis. Karen Labo was chosen to be the Church Secretary and Sis. Maribel Lanac to be the treasurer. Our Church is growing in members and spiritual life by the Grace of God.

To God be the Highest Glory!
In Christ,
Sister Ofel
P.S. While the October 25th baptism involved people from Bulabog, another baptism is planned for people from Penafrancia and the mother church of Emmaus Christian Fellowship during summer vacation (i.e. April or May of 2015).
